Connecting InoDrive Module to macOS through an Ethernet cable and Adapter
When establishing or checking this connection the Network tab on your macOS, the Network Settings Page is your starting point. The path is: Launchpad/Apple Menu > System Settings > Network
You may view the InoDrive’s webpage, watch window, send a new User Application, utilize the API, and more to use/test the connection.
Now proceed to connection

Plug your Ethernet Cable into your adapter and the powered on InoDrive, and the Ethernet adapter into the Mac computer

This dialog box may come up, depending on your Privacy and Security settings in relation to Accessories. Check these settings and be familiar with the preferences you have chosen in relation to this particular adapter prior to this moment. Select Allow |

If an adapter connection is automatically created, “USB 10/100/1000 LAN” or some similarly named “Service”, rises to the top of the network page with “Self Assigned-IP”. Wait for the “Service” light to turn from red to yellow (This may take 90 or so seconds, please be patient.) This means you are good to go. |

If nothing happens on your network page, no “Service” was automatically launched, you will have create one. Select on the bottom right the “…” drop down button. Select “Add Service”. |

Then another drop down will appear and from that you should select “USB 10/100/1000 LAN” and that will self assign and ip address and handle the ethernet connection |

Click Create, and wait for the “Service” to turn from red to yellow (This may take 90 or so seconds, please be patient) |
