Profiles

Any motor blocks that cause a motor to run require a Profile as one of the operands in the block. A Profile provides the values and units for:

Torque
Speed
Acceleration
Deceleration
Smoothness

All Profiles are user defined and any given program can have multiple Profiles available for use throughout your user program.

Creating a Profile

Click the Profiles item under the Resources list and then click Create New and enter a valid name. In this example we typed “My_Profile”. Please note that the default values and units for Torque, Speed, Acceleration, Deceleration, and Smoothing are populated. If you simply click Create, the Profile will be created with these default values and units.
